Building Operations & Maintenance

Building Operations and Maintenance is responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, and minor renovating university buildings and infrastructure systems on the Eugene and Portland campuses. These services provide the University of Oregon community with a safe, efficient, reliable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing learning environment that supports the University’s mission and vision. 

  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within buildings
  • Maintenance and repair of interior surfaces, including paint and floor finishes
  • Maintenance and repair of building envelope
  • Lock and door maintenance and repair
  • Proactive and preventative maintenance
  • Monitoring of building system alarms
  • Property management support for off-campus properties
  • Elevator repair and maintenance
  • Contracted labor for CPFM Design and Construction
  • Support during holidays and after-hours through the on-call program via the Security Operations Center
  • Fleet Vehicle and Equipment Services
