Space Allocation

The Office of Campus Planning supports the institution in the allocation and utilization of university space by evaluating space requests and recommending policies related to space use. Campus Planning staff support the Space Advisory Group (SAG) in their service to the Provost and Senior Vice President, who is delegated the responsibility for allocating space by the University President.

Campus Planning staff are available to help campus units find space solutions during growth, reorganization, or relocation. This includes on- and off-campus space as well as requests to lease space (new or renewal).

All space requests and allocations must serve the university mission and strategic priorities. Completed space requests are subject to a thorough analysis and will be reviewed with requesting units to identify optimal solutions.
