The Office of Sustainability maintained a comprehensive database that served as a gateway to University of Oregon sustainability efforts. This searchable database offered a comprehensive inventory of hundreds of sustainability projects, programs, and events. It received over 23,000 hits a year and had been replicated by several sister institutions around the country. As sustainability has become more ingrained in the culture of the University of Oregon and was reflected in a myriad of projects bubbling up everyday, it became too challenging to keep the database updated with all the sustainability efforts across campus.
