The Real Estate division of Campus Planning works with university partners to identify lease and acquisition options that meet the University of Oregon’s mission, and its future growth needs. Real Estate management handles the lease negotiations for university properties that are owned by the University of Oregon and leased to third parties, as well as properties that are leased from third parties for university use.

We are responsible for

  • Property purchases and lease assessments;
  • Adhering to due diligence;
  • Tracking property acquisitions;
  • Managing conveyance processes;
  • Being the external and internal communications liasons;
  • Managing the lease inventory for university properties;
  • Being the lease negotiation representatives; 
  • Managing existing lease evaluations and reporting; and
  • Adhering to the Real Property, Space Use and Facilities Planning Policy
